Bachata

Bachata is a sensual dance, as it is danced very close to the hips. It was popularised by the song "Obsesión" by the group Aventura. Like many other dance styles, bachata also originates from the Caribbean, more precisely from the Dominican Republic. The music is very playful and the lyrics are almost always about love.
