Anna Varini

Fusion Choreography

Anna began dancing at an early age in Italy, starting with Modern Dance and Ballet. Since 2015, she has expanded her repertoire in Switzerland at various dance schools, participated in numerous competitions, and emerged as a winner. Through multi-day international camps, advanced trainings, and projects in different countries, she continuously deepened her skills. Over time, Anna developed a growing desire for her own dance language and movement, which she is currently refining in order to communicate clearly through dance and gain a deeper understanding of herself. With this goal, she now teaches regularly at dance schools across Switzerland and choreographs for shows, events, music videos, classes, and workshops both nationally and internationally. For her, dance connects people with themselves, with others, and with music by making it both visually and physically tangible.

Class description
The content of the class is geared towards expanding one’s own movement vocabulary through her choreographies and working on the quality of the execution. The goal is to consciously choose how a movement is performed by experiencing and exploring different ways of execution – thereby developing an individual and authentic movement language to express oneself more freely.

The focus lies on movement quality, musicality, and the understanding thereof. The music selection varies but the core remains the same: having the space to practice, explore, and within that process, find space for oneself.
