Neel was born in Belgium where he trained at the Royal School of Antwerp, he got a scolarship to dance in Jeunes Ballet d’Europe and later on from the Stuzzi-Thomi Stiftung Basel to join the Rudra School. In 2003 he joined the Ballet Bejart Lausanne dancing the most of the repertory from M. Bejart and Gil Roman.
In 2010 he was engaged by Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz München, where he had the chance to work and collaborate with most of the contemporary choreographers.

He created his first choreography for the Expo Shanghai 2010 and in 2017 he decided to move to Switzerland and become a dance teacher and choreographer. Since then he teaches in different dance schools, such as ZHDK, Tanzwerk 101, ASVZ Zurich, etc. Since 2019 he directs with Graciela Martínez his own dance school and company, called Lit Dance.

I always try to create an atmosphere in the studio where we all respect each other, where there is no right or wrong, and room for discovery. Mistakes can many times have a positive outcome. I try to help the dancers discover the dancer they are by acknowledging their qualities and weaknesses and to realize that weakness can be also a quality.

In my class i work on different elements such as floor work, body awareness, dynamic in movement, coordination, contact and improvisation.
I had the chance to live, feel and dance all this elements by working with a big diversity of great Masters in dance and now i feel the need to share this knowledge.
